Now an Associate Professor at Utica College, Chris Riddle is a two time grad of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Philosophy Department. He graduated with his honours BA from ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ in 2004 . Then, after getting his MA in Critical Disability Studies at York, he returned to ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and completed his PhD in 2012. He has two books (with a third forthcoming) and a raft of articles on disability, rights and the capabilities approach. Chris has also served as the Director of the Applied Ethics Institute at Utica since 2012, and as the Chair of Philosophy at Utica College since 2013. He was just awarded the Crisafulli Award for teaching excellence. Instituted in 1974 through a gift from a friend of the College, the Crisafulli award is considered Utica College's finest tribute to a faculty member.
