Lisa Guenther has , about plans to develop Kingston's Prison for Women (usually referred to as the P4W) site. The Prison for Women was Canada’s only federal penitentiary for women from 1934 to 2000. ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ owns the site, and is in negotiations to sell it to a developer. Guenther's commentary is a poignant call to be "willing to face a messy and difficult history, in conversation with the women whose lives and deaths were shaped by that history, in order to co-create a more just and equitable future".
