Rhonda Liston is the owner of Rebelle Fit in Kingston, and a participant in WE-CAN’s Spark Marketing Services Program. Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation leads the WE-CAN Project, which receives support from the . The mission for WE-CAN is to inspire and empower existing and aspiring women-identifying entrepreneurs, through the provision of tools, resources, expert mentors, networks and building of community, to expand existing businesses and to launch new ventures.
Rhonda and her team incorporate a combination of body and mental health training, with an emphasis on whole-body wellness.
“As a mother of five, I didn't take my health seriously until I was 39,” Rhonda shares. “That’s when I reignited my love of bodybuilding and competed at the age of 40 for the first time.”
The experience was life-changing for Rhonda who suffered for several years from PTSD. She knew she wanted to share her passion with the community, particularly with those who feel they have no voice.
Brushing off her certifications as a Personal Training Specialist, Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Coach (CanFitPro) and Zumba instructor, Rhonda put an old dream back into motion.
Today, Rebelle Fit offers a range of services including in-studio classes, at home programs, personal training, youth classes, meal plans and more.
