FACULTY ORIENTATION

School of Nursing Orientation

Nursing

Welcome home Nursing Class of 2028! Congratulations on your acceptance- you should be so proud of yourselves!

We are so excited you have chosen to spend the next four years as Gaels. The Nursing Orientation Committee (NOC) (Orientation Executives) and your Capes (Orientation Leaders) have been planning a very exciting orientation for you that you will not want to miss! We hope that Nursing Orientation '24 can provide you with a sense of community, guidance, and friendship during this new transition to university and, most importantly, give you an introduction to what we like to call the "¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Nursing family." We eagerly await your arrival and participation in this special week!

During Nursing Orientation week, you will be given the opportunity to participate in once-in-a-lifetime events such as a boat cruise, as well as be a part of long-standing traditions like coverall painting and learning the "year dance," to name a few. You even get to connect with students from other faculties during interfaculty events such as our headphone disco with Kinesiology! Attending these events allows you to bond with students in your class, meet those from other faculties, receive guidance from upper-year students and faculty staff, learn more about Queens and the nursing program, and ease those jitters you may have as you embark on this new, but incredible journey here at Queens!
