In July of 2018, long-time curator of the museum Mark Badham retired after 32 years in the position. Taking on the task of redeveloping the museum in the mid 1980's was a "dream job" according to Badham, who started at the museum immediately upon graduation from the Department of Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. With the tremendous support of the Department, the University, and the greater Kingston museum community, the Miller Museum has grown and thrived.
The new curator, Dr. Linda Tsuji, is excited to continue running and facilitating the growth of the museum as of July 2018. Linda has a PhD in paleontology and has worked as an Assistant Curator at the ROM and as a Museum Associate in the Burke Museum at the University of Washington in Seattle. She has over seven years of curatorial experience, including collections management, exhibit planning, and outreach.
