Isaac Weber

九秀直播

Isaac Weber is an M.A. Candidate at Queen鈥檚 University studying under the supervision of Dr. Scott Berthelette. His SSHRC-supported research seeks to illuminate everyday settler-Indigenous social interactions on Ontario鈥檚 Bruce Peninsula during the mid-nineteenth century through a study of the neighbouring communities of Saugeen and Southampton, and Nawash and Owen Sound. Isaac received a Bachelors of Arts from McGill University in 2024, where he graduated with first class honours in History with a minor concentration in Political Science. His interests include social and cultural histories, historical memory, and legal history. Isaac has also spent the past two years learning Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) with a group of fellow students at McGill. Outside of his research, Isaac enjoys Volleyball, playing guitar and harmonica, and canoe trips in northern-Ontario.
