Hi! My name is Mary McKeddie and I am a first year Master’s in Arts student. After completing my Undergraduate degree at Queen’s with a History major and English Language and Literature minor, I decided to continue my studies here to pursue my personal interest in 19th-20th century Irish history. Under the supervision of Dr. Jeffrey Collins, I look forward to exploring the dynamic social, political, and cultural history of modern Ireland for my cognate essay. Outside of my studies, I enjoy travelling, listening to music, going to museums and galleries, and spending time with my family (which includes a cat that retrieves and a golden retriever that does not) and friends.
