I am a third year Ph.D. student working under Dr. Sandra den Otter and Dr. Julie-Marie Strange (Durham University). My dissertation examines the connections between gift-exchange, dress, and social networks in mid-nineteenth century Britain. I am interested in dress history, gender history, material culture history, and British history.
