As we process our anger and grief at the outcome of the U.S. election, the Department of Gender Studies at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ stands proudly in solidarity with black, indigenous, muslim, brown, undocumented, incarcerated, poor, disabled, trans, and queer peoples whose fear and despair are especially acute. We take inspiration from the powerful legacies of resistance to white supremacy, settler colonialism, and gender and reproductive violence that inform our daily work as scholars, teachers, and administrators. Today and always, we are committed to the ongoing struggle to realize a fiercely just and affirmative future.
