    Description:

Taking a flipped approach to your course design is often defined as moving away from using the lecture time for traditional content delivery and instead creating a more interactive session that focuses on application of knowledge and active learning (through discussions, debates, hands-on activities, peer-teaching, etc). To facilitate this, the content delivery is moved online (as text, short videos, interactive modules, etc) for students to navigate on their own ahead of time.  Although the idea of flipping your course isn’t new, there are many considerations for how to do it effectively, how to increase engagement with students, and the integration of technology.

In this interactive session we will introduce the basics of adopting a flipped model approach for your course and discuss some of the common strategies and challenges for implementation.
