Dr. Nathan Nickel is an Associate Professor of Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. As the Director of the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy (MCHP), Dr. Nickel leads a research centre of excellence at the University of Manitoba with 60 research staff and Scientists that creates evidence in population health, data science, and social services research. MCHP also maintains and curates the Manitoba Population Research Data Repository, a collection of administrative data documenting Manitobans鈥� experiences with health and social services. Dr. Nickel also sits on the Executive for the Health Data Research Network Canada which aims to advance multi-regional research using linked administrative data.
