Facilitated by Yasmine Djerbal, Ph.D. Candidate, Cultural Studies Program, Queen’s University
    Friday, February 26, 2021; 9:30 – 10:30am, ZOOM

Building on Angela Davis's words "I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change", this webinar is an invitation to "change the things we can no longer accept". Instructors and educational staff will be invited to learn, discuss, and share inclusive teaching practices and anti-racist pedagogies upon which to create intentional, meaningful, and committed change in teaching and learning spaces. Geared towards participants from a range of disciplines, identity positions and teaching experience, this session will help build on prior knowledge and develop participants' anti-racist strategies in classroom environments. Different aspects of anti-racism and inclusion will be discussed in relation to curriculum design, teaching practices, assessment, and disciplinary epistemologies.
