Resilience is a word that gets used quite a bit at Universities. But what does it mean? At its core resilience is the ability to adapt and adjust to stressful situations. International students are faced with a unique set of situations that sometimes may be difficult for any student to take on alone. We invite you to participate in the two Resilience Sessions presented by the QUIC and ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Residence Life. These sessions aim to discuss how we can build our resilience together:
Session 1 on Thursday, June 18th:
The Resiliency Recipe: An introduction to what resilience is and why it is important
Please register at https://queensu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_etzEWX6lmk3Nxlz
Session 2 on Thursday, June 25th:

Please register at https://queensu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eMbeocFuHBw6Tl3
Join us between 2:00 - 3:00 pm EST on Zoom; link will be emailed to you upon registration.
In these sessions, we will focus on four components- creating meaning, self reflection, trust in self and noticing emotions. We will define and discuss how to work together to name and grow these skills for the year ahead.
