    Description:

    Assertive communication is a fundamental workplace skill and is critical to an environment of open communication. Assertive techniques can be used in any type of interpersonal communication. This workshop will cover various communication styles and the characteristics of open versus closed communication climates. Additional subjects covered include: the five components of an assertive message, determining when to use an assertive communication style, giving constructive feedback appropriately, and receiving feedback in a positive way. There is no longer a fee for this workshop; it is free to all registered participants.
