Students will then engage in an exercise of building a toolkit which contributes to this evolution: From summarizing key cases that define what anti-Black racism looks like before the criminal justice system to researching novel ways in of considering the prevalence of anti-Black racism in substantive law, such as in the interpretation of the actus reus of an offence.
