This performance is the finale concert of the Pro Musica International Choral Festival, and will feature the Festival Chorus—150 high school singers from across the United States and Canada, admitted to this competitive opportunity through a selective audition process—in a program of contemporary and classical works. The concert will culminate in the world premiere of a work by festival guest composer and conductor, Dr. Rollo Dilworth, in which the students will join voices with the professional visiting choruses Albany Pro Musica, the Camerata Coral de Puerto Rico, and the Kingston Chamber Choir.

The Pro Musica International Choral Festival is a choral institute offered by Albany Pro Musica and Queen’s University which brings talented young singers from across North America for a week of vocal clinics with renowned faculty, rehearsals and seminars, and performances by guest ensembles such as the Canadian Chamber Choir, the Kingston Chamber Choir, Camerata Coral de Puerto Rico, and Albany Pro Musica.
