Join associate chaplain and life-long crafter, Wendy Luella Perkins for a free, fun weekly art + craft gathering. Everyone is welcome (including your housemates, children and grandchildren). Invite friends/family members from far away to join in the fun! Bring your own craft or be led in making something from materials you have around the house. THIS WEEK: WHIRLIGIGS AND SPINNERS
We'll make colourful whirligigs and spinners that are powered by our own hands! There is no limit to the colourful designs we can create. Lovely to play with ourselves and to give as a gift.
Materials Required:
-Light cardboard (pizza box is perfect)
-Scissors
-Markers, crayons and/or coloured pencils
-String or yarn
-Gluestick
-Penny, nickel or quarter
-Yoghurt container (or something else about that size that is round to draw a circle with)
