Description:
One of the most internationally successful Finnish string quartets, Meta4 creates music that exists in a timeless dimension where folk, early, and contemporary blur their boundaries and engage in mutual interaction. First prize winners of the International Shostakovich Quartet Competition in Moscow, the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna, and a BBC New Generation Artist, their program features works by Leoลก Janรกฤek, Sally Beamish, and Robert Schumann.
NOTE: Students of any educational institution (from elementary to graduate schools) can attend this concert for FREE! Note that Student ID will be required (for secondary school aged students and above.)
