    Description:

    Join us for an informative luncheon with guest speaker Janice C. Hill, Ed'99, Director of the Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, who will be presenting a talk entitled "The Way Forward: Indigenizing Queen’s."

    Since returning to ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ as Director of Four Directions, her focus has been on creating visibility and a safe and welcoming environment for all, but most specifically for Indigenous students, faculty and staff, through the creation of a learning community dedicated to raising up Indigenous knowledge and presence. She will be speaking about these efforts, the recent report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Task Force at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, and the path forward.

    The Cha Gheill Luncheon is an ongoing series of educational lunches presented by the Senior's Group of the Kingston Branch of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Alumni Association. These events are open to all members of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Kingston communities.
