Title: Kingston In Focus: A data-driven decision-making tool that can support community planning.
Dr. DeLoyde will be discussing her involvement with community partners to develop a data-driven decision-making tool that can be used to support community planning. Dr. DeLoyde will discuss how the University partnered with the City of Kingston and others in the community to collaboratively develop the Kingston In Focus dashboard. Dr. DeLoyde will also be discussing career options within the environmental field, drawing upon her 25+years of environmental planning experience.
Bio: Carolyn DeLoyde PhD, RPP, MCIP is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s University. Carolyn's research is focused on cities and the natural environment, Natural Heritage Systems, ecosystem services, and community engagement. Carolyn is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with 25 years of environmental and land use planning experience.
