Built in 1969 and torn down in 1992, 131 Union Street was a temporary office building that lasted far longer than originally intended. The barn-shaped, aluminum-clad building was built as the first home of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Faculty of Education as it awaited the completion of its facilities on west campus.
When the faculty moved out, it was taken over by a variety of administrative departments that had run out of space. It was torn down to make way for the construction of Stauffer Library.
