The famous Canadian flying ace has a minor connection with ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. In 1919, the fledgling aerial photography company that he founded after the First World War took a picture of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ that is now one of the best known historic photos of the campus.
Since Bishop and a professional photographer were the company's only two employees it is almost certain that he was flying the plane when the picture was snapped.
