Aropa is a peer review tool used for text-based submission through which students can anonymously review randomly allocated peers’ work and provide feedback.

Advantages:

  • High degree of customization available for rubrics and settings
  • All features of platform available in free, open-source platform

Limitations:

  • Does not offer an intuitive user interface and can present challenges for navigation
  • No onQ integration; many manual processes
  • Students often require support
  • No rich media integrations possible; students can only upload word documents or pdf file formats
  • 10pm-12am EST is a standard maintenance window for the platform. We strongly dissuade any submission deadlines from being set within this time window.
