Tool Overview:
Aropa is a peer review tool used for text-based submission through which students can anonymously review randomly allocated peers’ work and provide feedback.
Availability: Asynchronous Browser-based
Advantages:
- High degree of customization available for rubrics and settings
- All features of platform available in free, open-source platform
Limitations:
- Does not offer an intuitive user interface and can present challenges for navigation
- No onQ integration; many manual processes
- Students often require support
- No rich media integrations possible; students can only upload word documents or pdf file formats
- 10pm-12am EST is a standard maintenance window for the platform. We strongly dissuade any submission deadlines from being set within this time window.
