Join us for the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Health Sciences (QHS) Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigeneity, and Accessibility (EDIIA) General Assembly, a gathering of passionate minds and advocates dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment across the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Health Sciences. This event has been made possible by the Bruce Cronk Lecture Fund.
Community Engagement across Kingston: Panel Discussion on Best Practices
We are delighted to have Dr. Aba Bailey a local community activist, entrepreneur, and educator. A founding member of the Antiracism Kingston Task Force, host of the Kingston: Let’s Talk Race Town Hall, and a Queen’s University Alumni, Dr. Bailey will be providing a few words on how Queen’s Health Sciences can integrate more equitable and inclusive practices into community engagement across the city. She will also moderate a panel made up of community partners across Kingston.
QHS EDIIA Champion Forum Innovations
In addition to Dr. Bailey's keynote address, the event will feature innovation presentations led by the QHS EDIIA Champions. These presentations will showcase innovative and transformative initiatives that champion Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigeneity, and Accessibility across the QHS community. It's an opportunity to learn about the groundbreaking projects and ideas that are shaping the future of EDIIA in healthcare and academia.
