Established by Mary Jerrett, B.N., M.Sc., Ed.D., in memory of her mother Ruth Jerrett.
I spent 27 years as a member of a School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health Science. I was an Associate Professor at McGill School of Nursing for 10 years and at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ for 17 years. I retired in 1997 from ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and around that time received a small inheritance from my mother; this provided some of the monies for this award. Since I was very aware of the financial needs of undergraduate students, I decided this Fund would be an appropriate use for the money. Also, since I mostly taught 3rd year students I wanted the award for that year and also in memory of my mother.
