Over Roxy’s 19 years at Queen’s, as Associate Dean, Student Services and Community Relations in Student Affairs (2000-2017) and then as Student and Enrolment Services Manager at the Bader International Study Centre (2017-2019), she provided compassionate and thoughtful student-centred leadership across a range of campus services, including Residences, Athletics and Recreation, Student Community Relations, Faith and Spiritual Life, the Ban Righ Centre, Career Services, Student Wellness Services, students-at risk, threat assessment, and the Student Conduct Office.
Literally thousands of students benefitted from Roxy’s guidance, compassion, and assistance. This fund honours her commitment to Queen’s students and the provision of a full, engaging, and supportive academic and personal experience to help prepare them for life after graduation.
Fund Description:
Established in November 2019 by family, friends, and colleagues in memory of Roxy Denniston-Stewart. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students who have been selected to attend the Bader International Study Centre.
