Donor Story:
The award was established to provide financial assistance to prospective students who hold great potential to make a significant impact on the business school community. In the view of the Cochrane family, a large part of what makes the business school at Queen’s special is the people enrolled in the programs and their level of involvement in activities outside of the classroom. The award is designed to help those that are proven self-starters possessing an entrepreneurial spirit find a place at Queen’s.
Fund Description:
Established by David Cochrane, BCom 2012. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic achievement, and entrepreneurial spirit to students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business.
