This bursary was created by the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ International Affairs Association (QIAA) in 1997. In the Fall of 2002, the fund was renamed the "Brian Sinnott Memorial Model United Nations Bursary" in honour of a former QIAA Executive Member and friend who passed away in May of the same year. Brian was a strong supporter of the United Nations and an avid participant in Model United Nations conferences.
