My dream is to become a lawyer so that I may share my talents by fighting for the marginalized and injustices that I am passionate about. I am grateful for the privilege of being able to pursue my education at Queen’s.
I know that without my student award, I would never have made it to Queen’s. As a first-generation immigrant, I have witnessed how hard my parents have worked to survive in Canada.
The award has given me the chance to provide a brighter future for my family. One day, I want to be able to give back and make a difference in people’s lives just as Queen’s donors have made in mine.
