I’m grateful for the breadth of education I received at Queen’s. There are few institutions that offer such opportunity in and out of the classroom. A few summers ago, I took part in the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Innovation Centre Summer Initiative (QICSI). That opportunity helped me to start a company built on addressing sustainable food production and nutrient content of food, not only in North America but in the world.
I believe we all have an obligation to do our part to improve the world. In the future, I hope to develop businesses that create food products that work with the planet, not against it, and decrease food insecurity, both in Canada and the world.
I’d like to thank the donors who have supported innovation here at Queen’s. Your contributions have helped me kickstart my entrepreneurial journey and will help students at Queen’s continue to innovate for years to come.
