Queen’s Principal Daniel Woolf is headed south this winter – way south. The Principal is going to New Zealand this February for a meeting of the Matariki Network Executive Board and a chance to reconnect with Queen’s alumni and friends in the Land of the Long White Cloud.
While in New Zealand, the Principal will connect with the other partners in the Matariki Network - University of Western Australia, Tübingen University (Germany), Uppsala University (Sweden), Dartmouth College (U.S.), Durham University (U.K.), and University of Otago (New Zealand). Each school in the network is amongst the most historic in their country. Queen’s has bi-lateral exchange agreements with 5/6 Matariki schools to make it easier for students to study internationally.
During the New Zealand meeting, the member universities will also be offering a special alumni event. Principal Woolf and his counterparts in the network will be gathering for an Alumni Cocktail Reception on February 2nd in Auckland. It’s a unique opportunity for alumni to catch up with what’s happening at Queen’s, show their tricolour spirit, and get to know more about our partner universities while building their personal networks.
Register now to join Principal Woolf in Auckland on February 2nd.
