Queen’s budget deficit: How you can stay informed

On Feb. 28, Queen’s University Principal and Vice-Chancellor Patrick Deane hosted an with Queen’s alumni, supporters, and friends to discuss budget challenges the university is currently facing and how it is navigating through this period while planning for the future. The one-hour conversation, moderated by Queen’s University Alumni Association (QUAA) President Colin McLeod, Artsci’10, covered topics on financial management and transparency, student recruitment, and long-term planning and sustainability.

We want to ensure our alumni, supporters, and friends are continuously informed with the latest information. For the most up to date details about the operating budget deficit, please visit the FAQ section on the Provost’s website.

We are grateful to all of you who continue to support us. Queen’s has a powerful alumni community that we often rely upon in challenging times. As a member of our alumni community, we hope we can count on you to advocate for Queen’s in your personal and professional circles and let people know that while the university faces challenges now, the future remains bright for all of us.
