Working virtually is not a new concept. It has been around for many years. In fact, for years, it has been the norm for many organizations. In some cases, a single team member or function could be remote. In others, entire companies are built with distributed or decentralized offshore personnel and networks. Over the last six months, more people and companies than ever before are contemplating the world of remote work.
But what does that look like? Many questions continue to exist as we navigate this new pathway. Answers are being sought around convergence (can we maintain clear purpose, priorities and productivity?), capabilities (how do we continually leverage the skills and experience of a remote team?), communication (how do we transition to a workplace where communication is solely through technology?), and culture (can we maintain our values, beliefs, and norms as a remote organization?).
Join Queen’s Venture Network as we hear from experienced professionals who will share their insights into developing borderless strategies for working in this virtual world.
