Accessibility
The Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning
The Tett Centre is above Ontario's Code for Accessibility, making it especially accessible to all visitors. The Tett can be accessed from the front, north entrance on King Street West and the rear, south patio entrance. Entrances are equipped with truncated domes for the visually impaired to indicate a change of surface level. These can be found in our starcases as well.
There is an accessible elevator between the first, second, and third floors. Restrooms are accessible to wheelchairs and equipped with adult changing tables and emergency buttons. Learn more about .
Ontario Hall
A moderately sloped concrete ramp leads to the accessible east entrance with a power door on the east side of the building along the southern stairway entrance which opens into the basement level. The threshold is uneven. The main west entrance is only enterable by a curved staircase upwards to the main level of the building.
The elevator is located in the middle of the building and allows access to all levels of the building. There are dedicated male and female multi-user accessible washrooms on the second floor, however, they do not have power door operators. Learn more about accessibility at Ontario Hall.
