The Queen’s Student Alumni Association (QSAA) Volunteer of Distinction Award was introduced in 2009 to recognize outstanding volunteers of the QSAA. Award recipients are honoured at the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Alumni Association Alumni Awards Gala.
Grace Zhang recently completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) and the Smith Certificate in Business. She has been part of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Student Alumni Association (QSAA) since 2021, first as an HR ambassador, where she was involved in creating the Volunteer Recognition program, and then as the HR-EDII director. In this role, Grace published the QSAA's first-ever Alumni Roadmap, an initiative that interviews various alums about their career path, academics, and extracurriculars to provide inspiration and insights regarding post-graduation. She is now working on the third edition, which has a theme of non-linear and non-traditional career paths.
As a proud new ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ alumni, Grace hopes to one day provide mentorship to future ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ students in the same manner as she has received from the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ alum community.
