Created in 2009, this award celebrates the dedication and generosity of Kathleen Beaumont Hill, BA'50, to her alma mater and community for more than 60 years.
To proudly carry Kathleen Beaumont Hill's name and spirit for future generations of remarkable ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ alumni in British Columbia, this award will be presented biennially to the individual who best exemplifies her outstanding service, passionate advocacy, dedicated support, and contributions to the betterment of our University and our country.
Selection criteria
Nominees are reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Is a ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ graduate or Honorary Degree recipient.
- Is based in Vancouver.
- Has a history of active and outstanding contributions to the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ alumni community globally and in Vancouver.
- Has significantly contributed to or impacted ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s reputation through their professional and personal lives and active community involvement in Vancouver.
- Is an active contributor, through volunteerism and/or financial support, to ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and its students.
- Is not currently employed by ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ (please note that any contributions made as part of a nominee's ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ faculty or staff duties cannot be considered in the nomination for the Kathleen Beaumont Hill Award).
Nominations are considered for two consecutive biennial award cycles.
